Family Campout

We went on a Wilkins Family campout this weekend. It was truly lots of fun. We were afraid the weather was going to be too hot for camping but it cooled off nicely. We didn't put up a tent and Bob & Lois had to go home so they let us use their tent. We put the kids to bed and then when we were ready we just put out a tarp on the ground, put the inflatable matress on top and slept outside. It was surprisingly nice and we fell asleep very quickly. We woke up when we heard thunder and moved into the tent when it started raining. I don't think it could have been more perfect to be outside. The kids hunted eggs and got some cool prizes. After it was all done there we were with smoky, dirty clothes. The fun of a campout.
